I checked the box for the garrison army, but the AI doesn't actually control the army, I still have to place it and still have to control it. This also applies when unticking "control large army" I'm playing as high elves with a 14 unit army and a 12 unit garrison versus 2 lizardman stacks so it would've been nice if the ai controlled the meatshield .
